Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 October 2026

By using the Max Health website or booking one of our services, you agree to the following terms.

Our services

  • We provide medical and health care at home in Baghdad, including doctor visits, nursing, lab tests, ultrasound and X-ray, physiotherapy and more, as listed on the Services & Prices page.
  • Home visits are for stable conditions and do not replace emergency care. In an emergency, such as severe shortness of breath, chest pain, loss of consciousness or heavy bleeding, go to the nearest hospital immediately.

Booking and confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed once we contact you to confirm the time and price and you pay the confirmation fee of 25% of the price.
  • The team sets off once the booking is confirmed; arrival time depends on distance, roads and traffic.

Prices and payment

  • The prices that apply are those published on the Services & Prices page at the time of booking, with no undisclosed fees.
  • Medicines, vaccines and supplies are charged separately where stated, and some services are priced after assessing the patient.
  • The confirmation fee is paid by Qi Card or ZainCash, and the rest when the team arrives by Qi Card, ZainCash or cash.

Rescheduling and cancellation

  • Before the booking is confirmed: you can change the time.
  • After confirmation, before the team sets off: we keep the confirmation fee until we book you a new time.
  • After the team has set off: the confirmation fee is not refunded.
  • If you cancel the booking altogether, the confirmation fee is not refunded.

Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate information about the patient, the condition and the address.
  • Provide a suitable, safe place for the examination, with an adult present when needed, especially for children.
  • Treat our staff with respect. We may end a visit if staff face any abuse or danger.

Medical care

  • Care is given by licensed doctors, nurses and therapists, and the doctor decides after the examination whether the patient needs a hospital.
  • Information on this website describes our services and is not medical advice.
  • Our services are provided by doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and other health professionals who are licensed and registered with the relevant professional bodies, each working within their specialty and under their own professional responsibility.
  • Diagnosis, prescribing treatment and deciding what the patient's condition requires are decisions made solely by the treating doctor or health professional, based on their examination and professional judgement, and they are professionally responsible for them.
  • Max Health's role is limited to organising the booking, coordinating and bringing the right staff to your home. Neither the website nor the coordination team decides any diagnosis or treatment.
  • Each patient may respond to treatment differently, and unexpected outcomes can occur even when proper professional practice is followed, so a specific treatment result cannot be guaranteed.
  • To the extent permitted by law, Max Health is not responsible for the medical and treatment decisions made by the treating health professional or their outcomes, nor for anything resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information about the patient's condition.
  • We value every comment we receive. If you have a question, feedback or a complaint about the care you received, contact us and we will follow it up with you carefully and professionally.

Changes to these terms

  • We may change these terms and show the date of the latest update at the top of this page. These terms are governed by the laws in force in the Republic of Iraq.
